Kiely Bros Ltd, formed over 40 years ago, has recently added waste management to its growing portfolio of services. Focussing on providing a reliable and consistent service offering to the construction, industrial and household sectors the waste management division has established itself as one of the major recycling companies & skip hire specialists in the Birmingham area.
All waste is taken back to the waste transfer station (EAWML40186) where it is subjected to a rigorous sorting process:
An initial hand sort separates the bulk wood plastics, cardboard and metal, which is sent for recycling.
The remaining product is then put through a further sorting process which separates the key waste streams: Wood, plastic, ferrous and nonferrous metals, paper cardboard and brick
By investing in state of the art handling equipment a recycling rate in excess of 90.0% has been achieved.
As a registered waste carrier and transfer station we work extremely closely with the environment agency and other bodies to ensure that we are compliant with the latest legislation and can advise our customers of any changes that will affect them.
To maintain our high service levels we have invested heavily in a fleet of skip loaders, rollonoff vehicles and tippers, which is one of the largest fleets in Birmingham. We have a range of skip loaders, which includes rigid and extendable arms which give us maximum flexibility no matter what the job. Our rollonoffs have self-sheeting systems for the safety of the loads as well as our drivers.
A full range of containers is offered from Mini skips to 14yd open skips as well as 20yd and 35yd rollonoffs.
The company’s management system is accredited in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
All transactions are logged and processed using and industry leading software package on a multi-user platform. This allows us to book, exchange, collect and track skips, produce invoices speedily and accurately, quote for contracts and provide customers with a range of reports for their business.
